Stashfin, a fintech platform, announced a USD 100 million funding round with InnoVen Capital and Trifecta Capital joining as new debt partners. The debt raise follows a USD 270 million Series C round of fundraising in H1 ‘2022, which valued Stashfin at over USD 730 million and was one of India’s most prominent funding rounds of the year.
A number of domestic lenders also participated. According to a statement, the platform will use the money to optimise the portfolio for prospective securitisation as it continues to generate rapid business growth and outstanding customer experience, enabling financial inclusion for diverse areas of society.
Stashfin, which was founded in 2016, has seen various positive developments, including ICRA upgrading the firm’s rating to BBB (Stable) / A3+ for its group company Akara Capital Advisors Private Limited (ACAPL), according to a statement.
The company recently launched its first debt issue to retail investors on a credit platform called Wint Wealth, which was quickly subscribed to.
