I-T officials survey premises of businessman in Ranchi

Ranchi: As the financial year is drawing to a close income tax officials conducted a survey at the premises of liquor trader Yogendra Tiwari in Dumka and Deoghar.
The team of IT officials reached the Meher Garden in Deoghar and Meher Hotel in Dumka on Tuesday and started inspection of the documents related to properties.
The exercise continued on Wednesday. The officials involved in the operations, however, did not divulge details of their findings. It is learnt that the exercise was part of the IT department’s drive to meet the revenue target. tnn
