PATNA: While addressing the youth leaders and members of Bihar Congress, party's national spokesperson Alka Lamba stressed on the need to take the issues of price rise and unemployment to ground level. Lamba asked everyone to unite, specially the youths, in order to oust BJP from the Centre.
She was interacting with state youth wing members on the last day of the two-day training programme held at Jagjivan Ram Parliamentary Studies and Research Institute in the state capital. Lamba said the time has come for the youths to fulfill their responsibilities towards their country with sincerity and honesty.
Congress national general secretary Tariq Anwar on the other hand asked the participants to inform people about the history of the Grand Old Party, its contributions and ideology. He said the party members have to make people realize that Congress is the only party which will help in uniting the country and maintaining the harmony.
All India Congress joint secretary and party's national youth wing leader Krishna Allavaru asked everyone to work hard and be ready to face any hardship. Allavaru stressed on the need to abide by the call of their leader Rahul Gandhi to not get threatened. He also urged all the youths to ensure they go to the villages and booths. Even former union minister Shakil Ahmad encouraged the youths and inspired them to take the ideologies of Rahul Gandhi everywhere.
This two day training programme concluded under the chairmanship of party's youth wing state president Shiv Kumar Garib Das, who thanked everyone for their participation.
