Jharkhand: Students stage protest against new domicile policy of state in Ranchi

Students in Ranchi stage protest against the new domicile policy of Jharkhand on March 23. On Sept 14 2022, the Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand cabinet approved the new domicile policy. The domicile policy based on 1932 “khatiyan” or land survey has been a long-standing demand of the Jharkhand’s Adivasis.
