Galaxy A52 5G gets served with March 2023 security update

The Galaxy A52 5G has received a new software update, bringing Samsung’s latest security patch. The device has started getting the March 2023 update that has already been released to various other mid-range and high-end Android phones and tablets.

The latest software update for the Galaxy A52 5G bears firmware version A526BXXU2EWB5 and is available in Australia, along with various Asian and European countries. The new security patch aims to fix over 50 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices. The update has been released in the following countries:

If you have a Galaxy A52 5G and live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download and install the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung has listed the Galaxy A52 5G in its monthly update schedule. The phone was launched in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. It received the Android 12 update in late 2021 and the Android 13 update in late 2022.
