FLIGHTS AS LOW AS $59: As of March 22, book flights through April and May for as low as $59 during the Southwest Airlines Splash Sale(Opens in a new tab). Flights must be purchased between now and March 30.

Itching to leave the house and see somewhere new this spring? It's time to dive in and take a trip. But traveling costs, especially flights, can quickly add up these days. Luckily, there's an affordable option to fly the friendly skies this season, and you may end up saving more money than you imagined.

Right now, you can book one-way flights for as little as $59 through Southwest Airlines' Splash Sale(Opens in a new tab). That means you can save big on those April and May travel plans when you purchase flights between now and March 30. There are a few caveats to keep in mind, however: you can only book flights from April 11 through May 24, and the tickets are nonrefundable.

Of course, as you might have guessed, the sale comes with limited seating options, specific travel day requirements, and varying market availability. You'll have to be choosy with your flights. On the plus side, these cheap travel itineraries do offer nonstop options when available.

Flights and seats are limited, so if you're interested in indulging in your wanderlust while the weather is warming up, snag discounted flights while you can.
