Smriti Irani had quite an action-packed time on Tuesday (March 21) as she participated in the 'Collaborative Efforts towards empowerment of Women's Day' event in Delhi. The actress-turned-politician met digital creator Shraddha Jain there and the two clicked fun selfies.
For the event, Smriti sported a printed saree with a traditional neckpiece while Shraddha wore a black suit with a golden necklace. Posting a few photos on Instagram, Smriti wrote in her caption, "To all the sassy saas & conniving bahus Shraddha and I say ‘ Aiyyo’ 😎@aiyyoshraddha 🥰"


Even comedian Shraddha had all praises to shower on the Union Minister who was quite cheerful at the event.
Shraddha shared one of their selfies and wrote, "Guys, I performed a stand up set today. For the women officers in the government - Officers in Indian administrative services, leaders across ministries. My mother would have been so so proud! Ms. Smriti Irani is tons of fun! 😄This selfie was after my performance!"


ANI had also tweeted a video of Smriti dancing joyfully at the get-together with other women present at the event.


The handle's post read, "Union Minister Smriti Irani participated in the 'Collaborative Efforts towards empowerment of Women's Day' event in Delhi earlier tonight. The Minister also danced with other women at the event."



Last month, Smriti Irani was busy with her daughter's wedding. Its reception saw the presence of who's who of the entertainment industry. Some of the popular names included Shah Rukh Khan, Jeetendra, Ronit Roy, Mouni Roy among others.
