Hardin County Sheriff's Office announces their largest fentanyl bust ever

Hardin County has set a new local record -- the amount of fentanyl collected during a county seizure -- and arrested four men in the process.

Travorris Omontre-De’Lano White, 20, was charged with manufacturing meth, fentanyl and ecstasy; possession of synthetic marijuana; and possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.

Tyrese Jaquesz Harmon, 22, was arrested for making fentanyl and ecstasy and possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.

Theodore Lee Follie, 20, was arrested for making fentanyl and ecstasy and tampering with evidence.

Jorden Tyvone Edwards, 22, was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and released on a $5,000 bond.

The arrests came after the Hardin County Sheriff's Office and other assisting agencies late last week executed a court-ordered search warrant on a home in the 600 block of South 14th Street in Silsbee, according to a news release from the office.

Once inside, authorities caught four suspects and discovered about 10,000 pressed tablets; methamphetamine; marijuana; promethazine syrup, which is a liquid sedative that is also a controlled substance; and four handguns, the release said. The tablets contained what is commonly known as ecstasy and was laced with fentanyl in the shape of a rainbow in varying colors.

Authorities believe that the residence was used to distribute the substances, according to the news release.

The news release states that this is the largest fentanyl seizure in Hardin County history.
