Cough syrup deaths: Marion Biotech's license cancelled by State License Authority

Uttar Pradesh: The Uttar Pradesh Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has canceled the drug license of Noida-based Marion Biotech Pvt Ltd after 18 children died in Uzbekistan allegedly after consuming cough syrup made in India. "Marion Biotech Company's license has been cancelled by State License Authority," informed Vaibhav Babbar, Drug Inspector, Gautam Buddh Nagar.
