Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:19AM

Agro Phos(up 3.01%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.19%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 2.17%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 2.11%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 1.78%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.62%), Aries Agro(up 1.43%), KRISHANA(up 1.32%), National Fertilizer(up 1.28%) and G S F C(up 1.02%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 0.43%) and Coromandel International(down 0.35%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 80.25 points up at 17068.65, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 283.33 points at 57912.28 at around 10:19AM.

HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 2.69%), Reliance Industries(up 2.47%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.9%), SBI Life(up 1.61%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.57%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.51%), Nestle India(up 1.23%), Bajaj Auto(up 1.18%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.12%) and Axis Bank(up 0.97%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.41%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.26%), ITC(down 1.0%), HCL Technologies(down 0.91%), Infosys(down 0.63%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.53%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.51%), JSW Steel(down 0.51%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.48%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.39%) were trading in the red.
