Teen arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting Adelanto man

A 17-year-old boy is accused of killing a 30-year-old Adelanto man.

At 6:15 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an assault with a weapon in the 14400 block of Clemson Court, west of Highway 395. When deputies arrived, they found 30-year-old Donald Sullivan suffering multiple gunshot wounds.

Sullivan was taken to a hospital, where he died, sheriff’s officials said.

The teenager was identified as the suspect and arrested.

The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail are investigating. The motive is unknown.
