Man’s body found in Alwar school bus, cops suspect murder
Jaipur: Body of a 40-year-old man, who was missing from his farm since Sunday evening, was found in a bus at Ghata Bhawar area under Kherli police station area of Alwar on Monday. The bus driver spotted the body in the morning when he was about to start the bus to ferry school children. Police suspect it to be a case of murder and have initiated investigation. According to the police, panic prevailed when the drivers and locals spotted a man’s body. A team of senior police officers with the team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) was rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
“The deceased was identified as Shiv Shankar Sharma who had gone to his farm at 7pm on Sunday evening. His family stated that he had told them that he will stay in the farm till Monday morning to guard the crops. On Monday morning his body was found in a bus,” said Ashok Chauhan, circle officer, Kathumar Circle in Alwar.
The locals kept the body on the road and blocked the way. They cleared the road only after the police assured them to arrest the accused behind the crime.
“A rope that was kept on the bus roof was found at the spot. It appears that the deceased was beaten and strangulated. We have registered a case of murder,” said a senior police officer of Kherli police station. tnn
