Delhi-based edtech unicorn Physics Wallah on Monday acquires UAE-based startup Knowledge Planet in an undisclosed deal, according to media reports.
With this partnership, Physics Wallah is looking to expand across the GCC region in the coming year. The news came from a social media post.
"Proud to announce the acquisition of Knowledge Planet UAE by PW (PhysicsWallah). With its first international acquisition, Physicswallah aims to serve the Indian diaspora globally," LinkedIn post reads.
The coming together of these two companies will further accelerate Sachin Bharti Gupta and Alakh Pandey's combined vision of providing quality education at scale to students across the Middle East region.
