Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 530.7 points down at 57459.2 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Coastal Corp(down 17.01 per cent), SKP Securities(down 12.20 per cent), Tierra Agrotech Ltd.(down 11.81 per cent), AA Plus Tradelink Ltd.(down 11.80 per cent) and Sujala Trading(down 11.47 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 6 stocks traded in the green, while 44 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 162.75 points down at 16937.3.
On the BSE, Shree Ganesh Reme(PP), AA Plus Tradelink Ltd., Parnax Lab, Praxis Home Retail and Manaksia Coated hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Promax Power Ltd., HB Estate Dev, VMV Holidays Ltd., Sunflag Iron and Unimode Oversea touched their fresh 52-week highs.
