Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot flagged off IT Day Carnival and Run

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot flagged off the Carnival and Run organized on the occasion of Rajasthan IT Day in Jaipur. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Rajasthan has emerged as a leading state in the field of information technology. During this, he also said that the state government is constantly moving forward in the direction of e-governance.Along with this, the Chief Minister visited the 'Smart Village' built at Jawahar Kala Kendra. During this, he took a detailed review of the technologies and other facilities required to fulfill the concept of Smart Village. Apart from this, the Chief Minister saw a demo of pesticide spraying and organic fertilizer production process given to farmers by drones, as well as observed the stall of a start-up making sanitary pads.Rajasthan IT Day is being organized in the state from 19 to 21 March. Under this, various programs including job fair, 36-hour offline hackathon, online hackathon with more than 1 lakh participants, startup and IT expo and market, youth film festival are being organized. Prizes worth Rs 60 lakh will be distributed to the winners of the online and offline hackathons. Multi profile jobs will also be offered to the youth during the job fair.
