Panaji: The South Goa Planning and Development Authority (SGPDA) board has been reconstituted, and while Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar continues as the chairman, Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has been brought in as a member. With the latest move, the size of the SGPDA increases to 16.
The other MLAs who are members of the SGPDA are Margao MLA Digambar Kamat, Ponda MLA Ravi Naik, and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai. The town and country planning department has also included three councillors from the Margao Municipal Council and two councillors from the Ponda Municipal Council.
BJP functionary Rupesh Mahatme has also been included on the SGPDA board.
