No place in democracy for those who don't believe in it: Nadda targets Rahul Gandhi
The Congress has become mentally bankrupt, Nadda said while alleging that Gandhi "instigated" foreign powers like the US and European countries to interfere in India's internal affairs.

NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party continued its tirade against the Congress party and its leader Rahul Gandhi, a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a swipe at Gandhi, indirectly, at a conclave on Saturday night.
“There is no room for those who don’t believe in democracy and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has crossed all the bounds of democracy”, BJP national president JP Nadda said on Sunday, after inaugurating the ‘National Youth Parliament’ of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Chennai.
Nadda, in his virtual address from here, said that Rahul Gandhi should be sent packing "lock, stock and barrel" in a democratic manner, as he has lost faith in democracy and crossed all its bounds.
Targeting the Congress Party, Nadda said, “The Congress Party has become mentally bankrupt”. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi had "instigated" foreign powers, like the US and European countries, to interfere in India's internal affairs by saying that democracy in India has come under threat.
He said that the people of India don’t listen to Rahul Gandhi seriously, but they merely tolerate him.

Nadda’s accusation against Rahul Gandhi comes closely after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s jibe at Rahul Gandhi, saying that the success of democracy has ‘hurt’ some people, who have taken responsibility to attack it.
A couple of days back, Nadda had accused Rahul Gandhi of being a permanent part of the ‘anti-India toolkits’ for maligning India’s image on foreign soil. The Congress Party has accused the BJP of diverting attention from the Adani row by ‘distorting’ and ‘misrepresenting’ Rahul Gandhi’s remarks.
Rahul Gandhi’s remarks about the state of democracy in India have created a political storm and impacted the proceedings of both Houses of Parliament since 13 March. The BJP is demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his remarks, while the Congress Party, with the Opposition, is demanding a PJC probe into the Adani row.
