UCC can be implemented in country: Dy CM

Kanpur: Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that if Article 370 could be abolished then Uniform Civil Code could also be implemented in the country
He was talking to media persons on the occasion of the conclusion of a three-day farmers fair held in Unnao on Saturday. When asked to comment on national executive meeting of Samajwadi Party (SP) being held in West Bengal, he said, “Whether they go to any ocean or island, what can we do. “SP is already a ‘Samapwadi’ (finished) party”. When asked about possibility of formation of third front before next Lok Sabha elections, Maurya said, “Exercise of floating a third front will never be completed. May those who call Ramcharitmanas controversial get wisdom”, he said. TNN
