For the first time, the responsibility of evaluation centres has been entrusted on to static magistrates. On the first day, answer sheets were evaluated by deputy chief examiners as per set norms of the board to help guide the examiners to undertake the process error-free.
UP Board Secretary Dibya Kant Shukla said: “On the first day, 90% examiners reported at their respective evaluation centres and a total of 6,67,068 answer sheets were evaluated.” In Prayagraj, a total of 5,452 examiners have been deployed at 10 centres out of which 2,295 (42.09%) remained absent.
