Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar enters Rs 100 crore club within 11 days

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (TJMM), starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, has entered the Rs 100 crore club. The romantic comedy film has earned Rs 101.98 crore at the domestic box office.

Luv Ranjan’s film has attained the feat in just 11 days. The film has already earned Rs 122 crore at the worldwide box office.

TJMM is also both Ranbir and Shraddha’s sixth film to cross the Rs 100 mark in India. Shraddha Kapoor has already delivered five films, including Ek Villain, ABCD 2, Stree, Saaho, and Chhichhore, that have crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.

TJMM is Ranbir Kapoor’s second consecutive film to enter Rs 100 crore box office club after Brahmastra which collected Rs 257 crore at the domestic box office. Besides the two films, Ranbir has four more over Rs 100 crore films including Sanju, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Barfi.

The film, which was released on March 8, also features Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor and stand-up artist Anubhav Singh Bassi. The story revolves around two young people who vow revenge against each other after faking a relationship.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Animal, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol while Shraddha Kapoor will be next seen in Stree 2.

Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway collected Rs 3.77 crore in two days. The film is based on Sagarika Chakaraborty’s book The Journey of a Mother. Rani Mukherji played a lead role in the film.

Norwegian dance group The Quick Style is on their India tour and has been on a spree of recreating some iconic Bollywood dance songs with Indian celebrities in Mumbai. After collaborating with Virat Kohli, the popular dance group shook a leg with Raveena Tandon.

The group just met one of the most loved actresses of the 90s and recreated her blockbuster song Tip Tip Barsa Paani, from her film Mohra (1994) with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. The song has been one of the highest points of her career and fans were delighted to see the actress groove once again.

Tandon introduced some new steps while The Quick Style danced around her. She looked stunning in a black top and blue jeans. The video was shared on The Quick Style’s Instagram page on March 17, and the caption read, “different when you do it with the originals”. Watch the viral video here:

Recently, a video of them dancing with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli went viral on social media. A video of the dance group breaking into an impromptu dance inside the Mumbai local train is also going viral and being loved by thousands of social media users.

The post has been getting many likes and comments. Actress Riddhima Pandit also commented, “THE OG !!! THE BEST”. A fan wrote, “Giving the Gen Z heroines a run for their money”, while another wrote, “The one and only person who will be associated with this song”.

The dance group became popular after recreating famous hook steps of many Bollywood songs such as ‘Sadi Galli’ from ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and ‘Kala Chashma’ from ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. In a recent interview with an Indian media house, The Quick Style talked about their love for Indian songs. They said, for them, the song Kaala Chashma and every song that is popular in this world, it’s not anyone’s, it’s everyone. The people that watch their show, are their family, their group, and their supporters, so they are together so the song is theirs.

Krishna Mukherjee recently got married to her longtime boyfriend Chirag Batliwala. The couple hosted close friends and family in Goa where they got married according to Bengali as well as Parsi traditions, honouring both their religious beliefs.

On Saturday, the actor shared pictures of her dreamy Goa wedding as per Parsi traditions on social media and fans cannot stop but gush over them. While she adorned a champagne-coloured saree and was all decked up as a new bride, Batliwala can be seen in traditional Parsi attire.

The pictures show the couple dancing, kissing, holding hands and cutting a wedding cake. The post was captioned, “Hello from Mr & Mrs Batliwalla ❤”.

The couple also had a Bengali wedding earlier, at a beachside, with the sea and the sunset as their backdrop. Krishna looked stunning in a red and white lehenga and Chirag twinned with her.

She shared pictures on her Instagram on March 14 and captioned, “And the Bengali girl tied the knot for life with the Parsi Sailor. We seek your blessings & love on our big day”.

Krishna Mukherjee first met Chirag Batliwala, a Merchant Navy officer, while holidaying on a cruise with her friends. The couple got engaged in Simla’s Manali.

Krishna and Chirag had started off their wedding festivities with a mehendi ceremony, followed by a haldi ceremony, and a Tomato festival party that was inspired by the movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.

They also hosted a sangeet ceremony. The actor has been sharing glimpses of all the events on her Instagram and she was glowing as a happy bride. The wedding was attended by several other actors from the industry, including Aly Goni, Shireen Mirza, Karan Patel, Anita Hassanandani, Aditi Bhatia, and Arjit Taneja.

Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan was scheduled to perform in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore today, however, the event was cancelled after the Karni Sena created a ruckus at the venue. Reports said the Karni Sena activists staged a massive protest and alleged that the rapper used foul language in his songs, therefore, polluting young minds.

The right-wing activists also submitted a complaint to cancel the Basti Ka Hasti’s contest in the city and the show was cancelled an hour before its commencement, reports said.

The Karni Sena had warned MC Stan of a protest if he used any objectionable words during his performance, however, the rapper ignored the warning following which the protest was carried out. Reports also stated that the management had to call the police as they failed to get control of the protest. The cops also had to mild lathi-charge on the activists.

Karni Sena’a district unit president Anurag Pratap Singh Raghav said the rapper is spreading obscenity among youngsters by using foul language in his songs. The activists took charge of the show and forced the rapper out of the venue after he sang songs containing obscenities in front of the young audience, Raghav said.

MC Stan became a household name after he participated in Bigg Boss 16 and emerged as the winner of the reality show. Stan won plaudits after he shared his struggles in the BB 16 house and garnered a colossal fan base leading him to win the show.

Altaf Tadavi aka MC Stan was pitted against Bigg Boss Marathi winner Shiv Thakare in the grand finale. Soon after coming out of the show, Stan began his all-India tour and successfully performed in various cities including Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
