Man booked for raping minor girl

Kanpur: A man was booked on Saturday for allegedly raping a minor girl and making her obscene videos and pictures and extorting cash and valuables from her by threatening her to make the same viral on social media.
On getting the information, the family members on Saturday have filed a complaint against Aman Sonker living in the area under IPC sections including rape and POCSO Act. The accused however is reported to be absconding. The parents of the victim stated that the accused had also tattooed his name on the chest of the teenager. The police are investigating the matter.
Gwaltoli police station incharge Rakesh Kumar Singh, said, “An FIR has been registered against one Aman Sonker, a resident of Gwaltoli area under relevant IPC sections including 376 and POCSO act and investigations are underway.” He added that the accused is currently absconding. tnn
