Five men arrested with 1.23g MDMA

Thiruvananthapuram: Valiyathura police on Saturday arrested five persons with 1.23 grams of MDMA stored in three packets for sale from a house at Kochuthoppe in Valiyathura.
The arrested have been identified by the police as Ignasious (23), son of Ouseph of Golden residence at Kochuthoppe in Valiyathura, Muhammed Aslam (23), son of Meeran of Puthuval Puthenveedu at Poonthura, John Baptist (24), son of Johnson of SS Bhavan at Vettucaud, Syam Jerome (25), son of Jerome of Thyvilakam Veedu of Vettucaud and Vishnu (26), son of Chandran of Karikkakom.
On the basis of a tip off, Valiyathura police held a secret operation at the house of Ignasious, who is the first accused in the case. Three packets of MDMA were seized from the accused. They bought the MDMA from Bengaluru. TNN
