4 Assam officers suspended for MPLAD funds anomalies

Guwahati: Assam government on Saturday suspended four state bureaucrats for their alleged involvement in financial irregularities in utilization of MPLAD funds of Rajya Sabha member Ajit Bhuyan.
Government notifications said that the CM's Special Vigilance Cell found irregularities in execution of works under Bhuyan's MPLAD funds which occurred during 2021-22 and 2022-23 when these 4 officers were involved in various capacities. tnn
