Ash Gardner was en-route to her fifty but the journey has been cut short by Shreyanka Patil. The rookie spinner comes in a surprise package and hurts Gujarat Giants not just once but twice. Shreyanka Patil began her spell by getting hit for a boundary but she bounced back and gifted RCB the priced wicket of Laura Wolvaardt. It was a loose delivery and Wolvaardt looked to slog sweep but didn’t get the desired height. Ends as an easy catch to Disha Kasat at mid-wicket.

RCB: 142/3 after 17 overs

Gujarat Giants may have lost a couple of wickets but Laura Wolvaardt has made life difficult for RCB. The Sneh Rana-led side reached 135/2 after 16. How much more can they fetch in the next 24 balls?

Right after smacking a boundary over mid-wicket, she looked to go for a maximum but couldn’t quite connect. Richa Ghosh collects the ball and whips the bails off before Meghana could head back.
