Twitter user Prateek Aryan revealed that he and his ex-girlfriend started a ‘Heartbreak Insurance Fund’ to ensure that a person gets some support after a breakup. He decided to put Rs 500 in the fund every month. The deal was that whoever cheated the other person would walk away empty-handed from the relationship. The person who was cheated will get all the money from the fund.

Unfortunately, Aryan’s girlfriend cheated on him after two years. He received Rs 25,000 which was deposited in his heartbreak insurance fund. He wrote on Twitter “I got Rs 25000 because my girlfriend cheated on me. When our relationship started, we deposited 500 rupees every month in a joint account during the relationship and made a policy that whoever gets cheated will go away with all the money. That is Heartbreak Insurance Fund (HIF).

His tweet has been viewed over 8 lakh times and has hundreds of amused comments, though many have cast doubt on the authenticity of the story. Many Twitter users called it a new business idea. According to a Twitter user, a new startup can provide such a facility to loving couples, which can provide them the strength to recover by giving insurance money in case of a breakup.
