An innocent woman was shot and wounded when a masked gunman opened fire on a Bronx deli, police said Saturday.

The 31-year-old victim was inside the J&D Food Market on Quincy Ave. near Dewey Ave. in Throgs Neck about 6:20 p.m. on March 5 when the unidentified gunman, sporting a black ski mask and grey jacket, opened fire on the store, cops said.

The woman was hit in the buttocks, cops said. EMS rushed her to Jacobi Hospital, where she was treated and released.

No one else was injured, although the deli sustained some property damage, cops said.

Police investigating the shooting recovered surveillance footage showing the gunman firing off at least three shots as he walked down Dewey Ave.

The video shows the man firing off one round, then turning to pick up what appears to be a spent shell casing. He then continues down the sidewalk firing off two more shots.

Detectives also recovered surveillance video of the suspect looking into a nearby building vestibule. The gunman is believed to be about 5-foot-6 and weighs about 195 pounds.

Cops on Saturday released the video and other images in the hope that someone recognizes him.
