Applicants invited for VIMSAR director post
BHUBANESWAR: The health and family welfare department on Saturday invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of director, Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla. The appointment will be for a term of three years.
No person, who has completed 62 years of age by January 1, shall be eligible to apply. The candidates need to send the application along with required documents by 5pm on April 20. Selection will be made by a selection committee so constituted for the purpose and decision of the selection committee shall be final and binding for such selection, said the official notification.
In a related development, Santosh Kumar Mishra, superintendent of MKCG medical college and hospital (MCH) Berhampur, will remain as dean and principal of this MCH with effect from March 31 on superannuation of Abani Kanta Mishra, dean and principal of the medical college.
Suchitra Das, professor of ophthalmology, MKCG MCH, was appointed as superintendent of MKCG with effect from March 31 until further orders.
