PM Narendra Modi announces Rs 2 lakh, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao to give Rs 5 lakh as ex gratia

HYDERABAD: Expressing shock over the fire mishap at Swapnalok Complex, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh for the next-of-kin of the dead. He also announced ₹50,000 for the injured. Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao also announced an ex-gratia of ₹5 lakh to each of the deceased's families. He also directed officials to provide better treatment to the injured. tnn
