Leopard trapped at Fatorpa

Canacona: An adult female leopard was trapped by forest officials at Fatorpa on Friday. Range forest officer Devidas Velip said they had received numerous complaints from locals regarding disturbance by wild animals prowling at night.
Some domesticated animals were lifted or injured in recent attacks, locals had said.
Velip said a cage was subsequently set up in the area in which the leopard was trapped.It was later released in the forest, he added. tnn
