Karnataka polls: Meeting of the Central Election Committee of Congress gets underway at AICC in Delhi

The Congress is likely to finalise its first list of candidates for the upcoming Karnataka polls after the Congress's Central Election Committee (CEC) is scheduled to hold a meeting on March 17. Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge were present at the meeting currently underway in Delhi. Karnataka Congress Chief DK Shivakumar on Friday said that the party wants to give more tickets to women and youth, ahead of assembly elections in the state.
