Light to moderate rain lashes Chennai city

Many parts of Chennai received light to moderate rain on Friday. Weathermen forecast that there were chances of thunderstorms with moderate rainfall in one or two places over Chennai, Chengelpet, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur in the next three hours. The IMD has forecast that some places in Tamil Nadu are likely to see moderate rain, isolated thunderstorms and lightning till March 20.
