The Buckle Inc, a clothing and accessories retailer, has reported net income of $254.6 million, or $5.17 per share, for fiscal 2022 (FY22), ended January 28, 2023, compared to $254.8 million, or $5.20 per share for FY21. The company's net sales for the 52-week fiscal increased by 3.9 per cent to $1.345 billion compared to the previous fiscal.

Meanwhile, the comparable store net sales increased by 3.3 per cent. Online sales rose by 4.3 per cent to $230.4 million, compared to net sales of $220.8 million in FY22, the company said in a press release.

In the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY22, Buckle reported an increase in net sales by 5.5 per cent to $401.8 million compared to the prior year's fourth quarter. Comparable store net sales also increased by 4.6 per cent, and online sales rose by 2.3 per cent to $74.8 million, compared to net sales of $73.1 million for Q4 FY21.

The company's net income for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 was $87.8 million, or $1.78 per share compared with $83.9 million, or $1.71 per share for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021.
