‘Anand Pal’s daughter behind Theth murder’

Jaipur: The Sikar police investigating the Raju Theth murder case on Thursday said that the conspiracy and planning of his murder was done by Anand Pal Singh gang through Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Singh was killed in an encounter on June 24, 2017.
Police in its charge-sheet filed 10 days ago believe that Charanjeet Singh, 25-year-old daughter of Singh, currently based in Dubai had taken the services of Rohit Godara of Lawrence Bishnoi gang to complete the task of eliminating Theth. Subash Baral another gangster of Shekhawati also helped in this conspiracy.
Shakti Singh, who was arrested on Wednesday, got instructions from Godara and finally he conspired and planned the murder of Theth. Shakti, while planning the murder not only hired the henchmen, but also provided logistic support including accommodation and arms to the shooters. It is also found in the investigation that the next target of the gang was Vijay Bharagav, an aide of Raju Theth.
TOI on Thursday spoke to Karan Sharma, the superintendent of police, Sikar to know more about the investigation so far in this case.
“So far we have arrested 24 persons in this case who were part of planning and execution of the murder of Raju Theth and 16 others have to be arrested in this case. Ten days ago, we had filed a charge-sheet against 22 persons and had left investigation pending against 18 persons who we believe have some role in this case. After filing of charge-sheet, we had arrested two more out of 18 suspects thus the number of arrested is now 24,” said Sharma.
Sharma added that Charanjeet Singh, the daughter of Anand Pal Singh who is presently based at Dubai and Subash Baral both had a common intent to eliminate Theth and thus they took the help of Lawrence gang. “It is also found that Shakti Singh had taken the help of Godara the gangster in this case,” Sharma added.
Police on Thursday produced Shakti in a court from where he was taken in a remand of seven days. “In the police remand, he would be interrogated on various things including from where he was taking all the command? Where did he get the arms and ammunition? What was the source of money he provided to the shooters for their accommodation, daily needs and for other things,” Sharma added.
Theth was killed by assailants outside his house in Sikar on December 3, 2022.
