Atiq aide’s gun house searched

Prayagraj: A joint team of district administration and police on Thursday searched a gun house owned by one Safdar in Johnstonganj area and took away some documents for verification. Safdar is said to be a close aide of mafioso-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his house was bulldozed a few days back.
A senior official preferring anonymity said it was a routine checking and the team took some documents for verification.
