Man tries to film woman staffer in Jaipur mall’s loo, FIR registered

JAIPUR: In an alleged case of voyeurism, a 32-year-old woman alleged that an unidentified man tried to record a video of her in a washroom of a city mall under the Jawahar Circle police station area. The Jawahar Circle police SHO Surendra Kumar Saini said that the woman worked at the mall and alleged that she had gone to a washroom when someone tried to record a video of her.
Police said that the incident took place on Friday and the FIR was filed under IPC Section 354 C (voyeurism). As per officials, the woman told cops that she had gone to the washroom on the fourth floor of the mall’s building.
She allegedly saw a mobile phone over the washroom wall and raised an alarm. Police said that the accused fled from the scene.
The woman also gave a description of the phone’s colour for the probe. Further investigation is underway in the case. TNN
