Can somebody here suggest oil that can be used on GPU fan bearings
I have the same brand Sheldon but silicon bicycle chain oil. It seems oil is thick.I've used Sheldon Silicone lube and it worked really well.
Yes- the cube lube is thick as well. It does a very good job on lubing the fan bearings too. give it a try on an old case fan first if you mustI have the same brand Sheldon but silicon bicycle chain oil. It seems oil is thick.
Making jammed fans spin again unless there is a circuit issue. Also it works in case of any krrrr noise..What purpose does it serve? Does it reduces fan noise? Coil whine or krrrrrr noise?
krrrr noise is similar to the sound a fan makes when the bearings are dry. Lubing the bearing will not reduce coil whineWhat purpose does it serve? Does it reduces fan noise? Coil whine or krrrrrr noise?
I will try this on some of the 120x38mm fans by the weekend. I have given sewing/machine oil a shot once, it's a bit thin and works, would this be thicker than that?I've used Sheldon Silicone lube and it worked really well.
