    Indian Oil Corp. shares rise 0.37% as Sensex slides

    Nagaraj Shetti, Technical Research Analyst at HDFC Securities, believes Monday's pattern could be considered as a High Wave, which reflects high volatility in the market at swing highs.
    Shares of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. traded at Rs 79.0 on BSE at 10:15AM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.37 per cent from previous close.

    The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 65.2 and a high of Rs 90.67.

    Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

    A total of 699,257 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 10:15AM (IST).

    The stock of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 111882.57 crore.

    The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 18.2, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.82. Return on equity (ROE) was at 18.79 per cent, according to exchange data.

    In the BSE500 pack, 94 stocks traded in the green, while 407 stocks were in the red.

    Promotor Holding
    Promoters held 51.5 per cent in the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2022 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 7.01 per cent and 11.53 per cent, respectively.
