‘Govt foisting false cases on AIADMK netas’

Coimbatore: The AIADMK continued to organize protests condemning the DMK government for registering a case against the party interim general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami.
Leading a protest in Coimbatore on Wednesday, Pollachi V Jayaraman, former deputy speaker of Tamil Nadu assembly, said the government was foisting false cases on AIADMK leaders to divert the attention of public from its failures.
He alleged that the law and order in the state was so poor that there was no safety even for a former chief minister. Jayaraman was referring to the incident in which an AMMK cadre raised slogans against EPS at Madurai airport.
Jayaraman said the AIADMK would face the cases in the court and would not be deterred by such tactics.
