Inox wind(down 3.77%), Karma Energy(down 3.31%), Indowind Energy(down 3.10%), Kalpataru Power Transmission(down 2.67%), Hitachi Energy India(down 2.23%), DPSC(down 2.17%), Reliance Power(down 1.86%), K.P.I. Global Infras(down 1.74%), Orient Green Power Company(down 1.69%) and Adani Power(down 1.54%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 13.45 points up at 16985.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 78.94 points at 57634.84.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 6.24%), Nestle India(up 2.54%), Asian Paints(up 2.33%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.21%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.14%), Bajaj Auto(up 1.88%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.69%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.68%), Britannia Industries(up 1.6%) and State Bank of India(up 1.34%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries(down 5.22%), Tata Steel(down 3.31%), IndusInd Bank(down 2.54%), JSW Steel(down 2.54%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.41%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.14%), Infosys(down 1.1%), UPL Ltd(down 0.86%), Wipro(down 0.77%) and HCL Technologies(down 0.67%) closed in the red.
