IPS officer hurt in accident

Rajkot: Former Rajkot police commissioner Manoj Agarwal, who is currently posted as principal of the State Reserve Police training school in Junagadh, was injured after he was hit by an autorickshaw during a morning walk on Tuesday. An offence was registered against two persons — the minor auto driver and vehicle owner Nazir Malik. The FIR alleged that Malek allowed a 17-year-old boy to drive an auto without licence. Source said Agarwal fainted after he was hit by the auto. He also suffered injuries on his hand and face.tnn
