NOIDA: In a meeting with officials of work circles 3 to 5, late Tuesday evening, over 30 RWAs under the umbrella body Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Associations (FONRWA) discussed pending civic issues in their areas.
“In the meeting, senior managers AK Jain and DL Verma; Arvind Kumar, deputy director (Horticulture) Anand Mohan; manager Umesh Kumar; and assistant officers of different departments were present,” said Yogendra Sharma, president of FONRWA.
While most office bearers discussed topics like encroachments and insects, complaints were also made over the slow paced installation of new swings and benches in parks, said KK Jain secretary general FONRWA.
Demands for reparation of a sewer line and construction of a boundary wall in Sector 63A were also brought up. Community centres were a recurring topic throughout the meeting, with demands for centres in nearly half a dozen sectors also made.
Pawan Yadav, RWA president of Sector 100, demanded the reopening of a service road near Voda Temple in Sector 100. Yadav also demanded plantation, grass, swings, benches, etc., for his sector.
Senior managers from the authority apprised attendees of the various developments underway in different sectors and assured that action will be taken based on the proposals received from the RWAs.
