Former Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray on WEF list of Young Global Leaders 2023

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former minister Aaditya Thackeray was on Tuesday nominated for the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Young Global Leaders Class of 2023 in the public figures category.
A WEF statement said this year's cohort includes nearly 100 promising political leaders, innovative entrepreneurs, game-changing researchers and visionary activists who are accelerating positive and lasting change in their communities, countries and the world.
"I'm truly honoured and privileged to be a part of the WEF's Young Global Leaders 2023 batch. This is an opportunity that I consider truly special and I hope to be able to serve people in better ways through my learnings from this," Aaditya said in a tweet.
