Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 10:14AM

Rama Phosphates(up 13.68%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 4.35%), KRISHANA(up 3.08%), National Fertilizer(up 3.03%), Agro Phos(up 2.29%), Aries Agro(up 2.07%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.98%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 1.72%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.60%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.49%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 1.35%), Coromandel International(down 0.58%) and Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.08%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 103.15 points up at 17146.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 340.38 points at 58240.57 at around 10:14AM.

Larsen & Toubro(up 2.74%), Asian Paints(up 2.37%), UPL Ltd(up 2.26%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.99%), Tata Steel(up 1.97%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.89%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.7%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.63%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.53%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.35%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel(down 1.39%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.71%), SBI Life(down 0.64%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.29%), Nestle India(down 0.17%), HCL Technologies(down 0.09%) and Reliance Industries(down 0.03%) were trading in the red.
