    Share price of Lupin rises as Nifty strengthens

    India 10-year bond yield rose 0.05 per cent to 6.03 after trading in 6.02-6.04 range.
    Shares of Lupin Ltd. gained 1.42 per cent to Rs 665.55 in Wednesday's trade as of 10:51AM (IST).

    The stock hit a high price of Rs 666.2 and low of Rs 655.65 during the session.

    The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at -12.74 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:51AM shares and turnover at Rs 0.85 crore around that time.

    The stock of Lupin Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 798.9 and Rs 583.05, respectively.

    The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.75.

    Promotor/FII Holding
    Promoters held 47.1 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while foreign investors held 13.98 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 29.25 per cent.

    Key Financials
    The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4340.18 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, up 4.32 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4160.46 crore and up 3.46 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4194.99 crore.

    Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 153.47 crore, down 71.87 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
