Maharashtra Health Minister Tanaji Sawant on March 15 reacted to the reports of two deaths in the state due to H3N2. Minister Tanaji Sawant informed the media that the two deceased were having multiple diseases. “The two deaths in the state were due to multiple diseases, a report with more details are awaited,” said Tanaji Sawant.Earlier in the day minister informed that there are 352 patients in the state who have been hit by H3N2 virus. “352 patients of H3N2 virus have come so far. Their treatment is going on and hospitals have been asked to be on alert. H3N2 is not fatal, and can be cured by medical treatment. No need to panic,” Tanaji Sawant said.
