The Nifty index was trading 102.25 points up at 17145.55.
On the BSE, Kisan Mouldings, Scanpoint Geo, Gemstone Invst, Globus Power and Ashiana Agro hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Cenlub Ind, Ramkrishna Forg, Foseco India, Empower India and Pulsar International Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
