Tata Elxsi shares drop 1.94% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Tata Elxsi Ltd. traded at Rs 6011.95 on BSE at 01:58PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.94 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 5708.1 and a high of Rs 10760.4.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 52.59 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 114.6 per share and 34.39 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 15,740 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:58PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 37534.01 crore and is part of the IT Consulting & Software - Mid Cap industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 16.13 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 5.79 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 6186.0 and Rs 5918.15.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 43.92 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2022. FII and MF ownership in Tata Elxsi Ltd. stood at 13.9 per cent and 2.12 per cent, respectively.
