An elderly man allegedly committed suicide days after he was punished in a Taliban-esque manner, by being shackled to a tree and by iron chains, tortured and assaulted by reportedly the family of a girl who eloped with his son in a village of Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh.

An elderly man allegedly committed suicide days after he was punished in a Taliban-esque manner, by being shackled to a tree and by iron chains, tortured and assaulted by reportedly the family of a girl who eloped with his son in a village of Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh.
A video of the horrific incident which went viral on social media on Monday, shows the man, identified as Udha Ahirwar, a resident of Panchampur village, chained to a tree—hand and feet—as a woman, presumably his wife feeds him food and water.
According to reports, Ahirwar’s son, Shankar Ahirwar, works as a labour in Rajasthan with the prime accused, Zandu Ahirwar’s son-in-law, a resident of Peera village. Shankar reportedly eloped with Zandu’s granddaughter after the couple fell in love.
The couple got married last month and since then Zandu allegedly began torturing Shankar’s parents, reports said.
Local reports said that on March 2, Zandu Ahirwar brought Udha to Bila village from Panchampur where he chained to a tree for two days and also assaulted the elderly man. After being released, Udha went back to his native village with his wife where he later died by suicide allegedly.

On Monday, March 13, Udha’s wife found him hanging from a tree after she returned home from some work.
A police official said that a case of wrongful restraint and abetment to suicide was registered against six accused, including Zandu Ahirwar.
However, Udha’s family has accused Zandu, the girl’s father, among six people of forcing their way into the man’s home and hanging him from a tree. Demanding action, the victim’s family and relatives have handed a memorandum to Superintendent of Police (SP) Sachin Sharma. The family have accused Zandu, Saria, Suresh, Bhagirath, Sunil, Ganesh, Raju and Ramnaresh Ahirwar of torturing Udha and allegedly hanging him after they barged into his house

The clip has been shared by an internet user named Wake Up Singh. He also captioned the post, where he wrote come and say hi If you cross by, followed by half the lyrics of the song that reads Nhi te Aaunda Jaanda takda rahiee.

Ever since the clip was shared on the internet, it gained a lot of likes, massive viewership and reshares in no time. Many social media users have also been bombarded with comment section in order to share their opinion about the same.
One of the users commended that People from Punjab never leave a single chance to impress others with their creativity. Another user wrote that such type of guts and creativity India needs right now. While the third one appreciates the singer for making such a nice song that can be used in parties, clubs, wedding, and even on the petrol pump.
This is not the first time such a clip hit the headlines. Earlier, a similar post went viral on the internet where a house owner put a creative yet sarcastic banner outside his residence to avoid unwanted parking.

While some are supporting the new rule, on the other hand, some are criticizing the ban. One of the users wrote that first of all, the train management should focus on arranging the seats for the young people as a large crowd always travels while standing and never get seats. We also pay full money for the ticket in the metro, so why don’t we get a seat? User asked. Another one appreciated the new rule and said that it needs to apply with full force as internet influencers think that they own the whole train and makes videos as if nobody is watching them. While the third user asked the DMRC to stop making such useless rules.
Earlier this month, an incident was reported, where a social media influencer was caught making dance reels when the whole train was full of a crowd. When people objected, she started arguing with them. Later, the scene became heated and turned into a fight.

A video has emerged on the internet from Gujarat’s Valsad where a group of people can be seen showering the Bhajan singer with wads of cash during the Kirtidan Gadhvi event. As per reports, such a thing is a usual notion during the Kritidan Gadhvi event, however, the video has sent many users in shock.
In the video, a Bhajan singer can be seen performing on stage while a group of people literally showering currency notes of Rs 20 or Rs 10 on the performer. The video also shows the people showering the performers with cash and grooving to the music.
The stage in the video can also be seen covered with notes worth Rs 20 and 10. The performers, despite being showered by the notes, can be seen continuing their performance and matching the same enthusiasm as the people.
