Information and Broadcasting Minister of India Anurag Thakur on March 14 targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on his absence from Parliament and said that his attendance in Lok Sabha is lower than the average attendance of other MPs in Parliament. “Rahul Gandhi, again and again, insulted India on foreign soil. I want to ask him – when Opposition leaders did not get the chance to speak in Parliament? Parliament Session is going on, where is Rahul Gandhi, and why he is not in the House? His attendance in Lok Sabha is lower than the average attendance of other MPs in Parliament. He doesn’t come to Parliament and on foreign soil, he insults Parliament,” said I&B Minister Anurag Thakur.
