The Goa Association of the Deaf (GAD) recently held its 13th annual function and International Women’s Day celebrations at Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), Panaji.

On the occasion, prizes were given away to the winners of rangoli and Christmas decoration making competition which was held during Diwali and Christmas 2022 by the women group of GAD. A short quiz session and games was also conducted.

The day also witnessed the screening of ‘83’ in Indian Sign Language. The programme concluded with the felicitation of the winners of Miss & Mister Deaf India 2023 that was held during the Purple Fest.
